Buildings_Furniture.xml capital letters

@TynanSylvester
in the file there are a bunch of capital letters like, Label and Description instead of label and description, i copied these into the translation file but they don't work, i have to use label and description. You might want to correct that to avoid confusion.

Broken Translations (Misc.)

The debugger shows many translation DefNames are broken. Either the Names have been changed since the last version or deleted entirely, so the game has no idea what to do with them. DefNames need to be deleted and altered where appropriate.

String won't translate

While other strings in Gameplay.xml like food (<Food) and rest (<Rest) are translated in both the title and the tip, this one (<Mood) only applies the translation to the title, and the word in the tip is not shown in "weird mode" to mark it as untranslated.
I haven't done any def including anything about mood so i deduce it must be a bug.

Nuovo DLC

Ciao a tutti sapete come aggiungere la lingua italiana per il nuovo DLC Biotech?

Punto della situazione Gennaio 2021

Rimworld è passato a settembre 2020 alla versione 1.2.xxxx, ed è stata aggiunta una 'mod' chiamata Royalty. È stata quindi aggiunta la cartella delle traduzioni per questa mod. Inoltre ci sono ancora delle piccole cose da riguardare nella Cartella Core.
Io ho intanto iniziato a tradurre la cartella Royalty prendendo come esempio la versione Tedesca.

I'd like to go through and effectively replace all of the e' I see with the more official/appropriate è. This is a minor change, of course, and tedious to do. But, it looks a lot better and more official. No?

Ciao, prima che me lo dimentichi, ho notato che nel banco da sarto sia un normale berretto che il basco hanno lo stesso nome "berretto", io non riesco a capire dove si modifichi, riuscite a farlo voi?

Weapon Tools

In B18, tools were added to ranged weapons that can be wielded, allowing guns to be used in close combat. These tools need translation.

Continua a verificarsi la mancata visualizzazione del genere nelle LABEL; in questo caso, viene fatto riferimento al genere del colono, ma si tratta di parti del corpo: in game, mi appariva "Naso frantumat{PAWN_gender}". La mia proposta è di usare una forma neutra, (per questo esempio "in frantumi") e, in mancanza di quella, usare il genere maschile.

Info about Health_Diff_Injuries.xml

@TynanSylvester This file defines different kinds of injuries (like, burns, cracks, cuts, and so on) but all of them seem to have the same "Treated" "InnerTreated" and "SolidTreated" fields, having the same string of text into it. I don't understand how one would suture a burn or set it, which seem to be actions dedicated respectively to cuts and bone fractures. We can't quite figure out how to translate these. Does the system automatically use the proper field based on the kind of injury that the body part sustained?

Stockpile

There should be a guideline for translating "stockpile", because the literal translation "riserva" does not fit.
Better options could be "deposito" or "magazzino".

Ciao a tutti. Ormai siamo arrivati alla versione 1.4 del gioco, con ben 3 DLC. La traduzione necessita alcune correzioni nelle cartelle Core, Royalty, Ideology. Per il pacchetto Biotech, ho soltanto aggiunto i file di traduzione da completare. Se qualcuno ha tempo e voglia di dare una mano potete chiedere qui oppure nel forum.
Sono da controllare le traduzioni ed eventualmente marcare (nei commenti) errori di battitura/grammatica o altro.
Nei files sono presenti dei campi TODO da sostituire con la traduzione in italiano.

Different Grammatic Issues

In english possessive pronouns like his and her are differentiated because of the gender of the possessor (eg cassandra's phone: her phone) while in italian the pronouns are differentiated because of the gender of the object of possession and not because of the gender of the possessor (eg. her phone: il suO telefono; his phone: il suO telefono; her house: la suA casa; his house: la suA casa): the current code for pronouns would inevitably induce errors and it might require some developer work to fix. Don't consider the current pronouns.xml file to be correctly translated.

Architect: Verb or Noun?

Is the "Architect" in the menù supposed to be a verb (like, architect something) or a noun (like, the architect who builds something)?

La traduzione dovrebbe essere: conferitore, dispensiere, elargitore.
Ma non mi garba molto...
Bestower sarebbe precisamente "colui che dona i titoli reali".
Inizialmente avevo utilizzato il termine "rappresentante reale".

Conjugation Corrections

Toughskin gland

Ciao ho notato che la toughskin gland è stata tradotta come ghiandola di legno in tutte le linee, ma non centra nulla, possiamo metterla come dovrebbe essere in "ghiandola della pelle dura"?

Most of the files are out-of-date

Most of the files are are-out-date or missing. In my opinion we should update them all before going on with the translation, since translating old XMLs seems, well, pointless.

Special characters don't display properly

Characters like "è" or "È" which are very common in the Italian language are displayed in the game as a square with a question mark in it, for now we can work around that by typing things like e' or E' but that looks quite sloppy and can probably be corrected.

Traduzione di mental break

@JoLongH Credi sia meglio come ho tradotto io in "crisi di nervi" o pensi che usare le varie sfumature di "pazzia" sia meglio?
Io ho preferito mettere crisi di nervi perché è un sostantivo quindi non dovrebbero esserci troppi problemi nel tradurre frasi e si standardizza la cosa evitando di dover usare "impazzire" "pazzia" "impazzito" "impazzendo" che sono tutte parole differenti tra loro. Ma forse pazzia suona meglio.

Avoid "pluralia majestatis"

In Italian there are 2 ways to refer to someone with formality and respect:

Lei. It is very similar to "Sie" in German and "Usted" in Spanish. It denotes a formal respect, sometimes hierarchical, but not necessarily so.

Voi. "pluralia majestatis", it uses a plural pronoun to refer to a singular person. This is archaic and was used only for people that represented a larger collective. It denotes a higher respect and submission (eg, king, pope and parents).

I would personally avoid both in an interface translation, where only the infinitive-impersonal form and the colloquial "tu", do not sound awkward
