cocos-site's Issues

navigation problems with Vivaldi 3.4.2066.94 (Stable channel) (64 bits) (2020 11 07)

With Vivaldi 3.4.2066.94 (Stable channel) (64 bits), on win7, the first and last entries in the navbar work, the inner ones

  • don't react when clicking
  • when hoovered do not display the target URL in the status bar

Vivaldi is a Chrome derivative, so probably Chirome has this problem.

Firefox works fine.

Both html and css validates ok with the w3c validator.

A semi.related issue was mentioned at
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18820534/the-css-menu-bar-on-my-page-only-works-if-i-choose-inspect-element-in-chrome

Which suggested as a workaround to extract the navbar div from the header div.

Tried that and the links work, but the looks are ugly.

Instead changed the order from navbar - logo to logo-navbar; links work in both FF and Vivaldi.

A bit of tinkering with the css corrected some visual defects, looking enough good

below doc/ pages look bad, browser console tell lots of resources not found

Browsing from the local WD (right click over index.html, open with , navigate) works right, but starting from the github page, http://los-cocos.github.io/cocos-site/index.html , going below doc/ something is broken.

Browser console tells about lot of resources not found.

Searching for "sphinx docs in github pages" a hit on https://www.docslikecode.com/articles/github-pages-python-sphinx/ suggest to look at the page https://github.blog/2009-12-29-bypassing-jekyll-on-github-pages/ which tells

It is now possible to completely bypass Jekyll processing on GitHub Pages by creating a file named .nojekyll in the root of your pages repo and pushing it to GitHub. This should only be necessary if your site uses files or directories that start with underscores since Jekyll considers these to be special resources and does not copy them to the final site.

And yes, doc/ have resources in those types of dirs.

pushed ac9e281 adding a .nojekyll -> fixed!!

Private Youtube Videos

I can't see the video tutorial in http://python.cocos2d.org/doc.html because they're private. YouTube doesn't allow me to watch any of them.

Appart from that, the video snapshots aren't visible from the doc page I can't see the snapshots in firefox because they want to use flash and firefox isn't usinf flash anymore.
