想以个人名义买一个龙芯比赛的实验箱进行学习可以吗？

我已经工作了，想要自学一下计算机体系结构的知识，想通过自己也来做一下这个项目来实践一下；比赛的资料都是公开的，而且也有很多优秀的作品可以学习，但是没有硬件环境，就没法真正自己实际体验一下，想知道能不能自己购买一个实验箱供个人学习？
