I don't see any changes occurring to ARP, here, yet as of today, Chrome has disabled ARP due to needing new permissions, one of which is the ability for ARP to read and change all data on any website.... I assume it needs permission to read data due to the ability to search the page, but not sure on the change. Also without any changes to ARP here, why has it needed new permissions as of today?

Other choices works fine. But when I custom hour&minute&second, it won't show counting-down timer on icon.

First of all thanks a lot for this extension. It really helped me with my current work and I am grateful to you for developing this. Now onto the issue.

I am trying to make a small addition to the extension. I have a site where I am running the extension and I setting up a keyword notification when the keyword goes out of context. This part works as expected. I am now trying to click on a button when that happens.

I made the following changes to js/background.js reload_it:

chrome.tabs.sendMessage(tabId, { click_button: true }, function({found}) { // button clicked if(found) { console.log('Found'); chrome.tabs.executeScript(tabId, { file: 'clicker.js' }); //alert('button clicked'); } });

This code does nothing but, sends a message to the content_script to find and click a button. Inside the content_script, I am performing a search on the document and trying to click the button. The search function does find the button and returns true (so found is true and I get a 'Found' printed on the console). I tried clicking the button on the content_script and it did not work. I also tried to execute a script clicker.js for this and that did not work either.

I am not sure what's wrong and how I can make this small change. Your help in the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I love the extension. Thanks. One issue is that the notifications that pop-up on my mac vanish after a short amount of time. If I have to step away for a bit, I can miss them. Is there a way to make them stay on the screen until I close them? Or is this a mac os or chrome function? (I can't find a setting anywhere.)

If instead of writing text, an area of the web page could be selected then it would have been perfect because the extension is unable to monitor multiple text changes on the same page..!! .. can you provide me with your contact details.. or you can contact me at [email protected]

The Page Monitor feature is fantastic, but there is still space to improve.

AutoReresh Plus will monitor the page only if 1) the page is refreshed by AutoReresh Plus; 2) the page is fully loaded.

However, it is possible, some pages will refresh itself without plugin, in such case, the monitor feature is not working well. Another situation is, the page loaded successfully, but its content will be loaded later, say 5 seconds (depending on the network or web server). In this case, the monitor feature totally won't find anything, as the timing is wrong.

My suggestion is, as there is a timer, please add an option, let user to choose if it is used to refresh page, or used as page monitor interval. If the page monitor interval can be designed by users, it can fit the situations I mentioned.

Could be awesome if you'd add a new feature that refresh the page till it change, for example:

Refresh every 10 seconds www.google.com and if there is a change on url the refresh stops.
Something like

Hi, thanks a lot for such a beautifull extension! One issue is, that on the last versions of Chrome, the notifications that pop-up on my win7 don't want vanish even after I'm click on them. As a result, they stay on the screen until I close them. And this creates a lot of inconveniences...

Whenever I try to use the specific time or countdown start timers nothing happens, it just doesn't work. I enable the feature, and set the times and click "start timer" but nothing happens, like the button is dead. On the old version it works fine.

How can I make this work on this new version?

It's annoying to have to enter a time range for every page always again when restarting browser, would be nice if there were boxes at the configuration page for saving a default time range, and choosing that as the default instead of a fixed time.

And please make the random range boxes a bit larger, now they only show 3 numbers with default fonts (on Windows with 100% zoom), the UI could accommodate doubling them to 6 digits each.

One feature I'd like to see is the ability to look for content in other ways. E.g. to run the selector #table a[style="background-color:#00ffbf; padding:5px;"] on a page. In this case the same CSS appears elsewhere (the table legend); a regex could be crafted, but it'd be much easier to use another tool.

The extension is great, I love it. But each time it auto-refresh the page and it takes me the bottom of the web page. This is frustrating. I want to reload like normal refresh web page when we click manually on the reload button of the browser.

If you start a custom interval without having the hours, minutes, and seconds populated, it appears to "Start" but never counts down, and never refreshes the page at the set interval

I don't see a firefox addon like this. Have you think of publishing it to firefox addons? There only need some simple changes to make it work for firefox.

I have a page which changes every few hours.

ARP only allows intervals up to 15 minutes, or a custom value in seconds: sure, I can just type 86400 seconds if i want a refresh of 12 hours, but I think it might be better if he time unit could be changed into a dropdown with seconds, minutes and hours options.

The "play until I click notification box" option does not work correctly because there is no notification that appears after the regex is found. Because of this the sound keeps on playing until you close chrome.

Hello, I have a few unattended monitors set up as vacation boards using the Auto Refresh Plus extension to cycle schedules. The thing is, occasionally chrome on one of the monitors will time out, and I noticed that when this happens, Auto Refresh Plus will stop running. What I would expect to happen is the page will refresh as usual after the set countdown, bringing back the desired page and the monitors will continue there refresh cycle as intended. Why does Auto Refresh Plus stop when the page times out? Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
