monomeemu's Issues

monomeemu 9.6.5a : very slow and buggy connection with live 8.2.1, unusable

I've been using monomeemu 9.6.5a for a few with no problems. Bu since i update
ableton live to 8.2.1 and max/msp to 5.1.5 it's been totally unusable. The
connection with the launchpad is very slow and buggy.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. any normal setup with monomeemu and mononome patchs
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

For example with an obo patch the lights goes on an off, when i press a button,
it shows up after several seconds and sometimes dissapears. when i press the
button again to remove the note, it goes away after several seconds too.
This happens with all the patch that uses monomeemu

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

ableton live 8.2.1 - Max/msp 5.1.5 - Mac OS 10.6.4

connection problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I followed the steps exactly fom the Sevenup video, but the monomeemu never
displays the '7'
lights after clicking n 'connect'.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see Sevenup connect to monomeemu

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I'm using the latest version of monomeemu with Sevenup Live 2.0.4 downloaded
from here:

http://www.makingthenoise.com/sevenup/

The autoconfig stuff seems to work fine, but nothing happens when I click on
connect.

Thanks.

Jeff

monomeemu0.9.6a5 generating un-necessary undo entries

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. drop an instance into Live
2. go to Edit-undo
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
undo should be empty when loading a liveset with monomeemu instance.
instead there are numerous "undos" for live.button(s).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Live 8.1.1 max 5.1.3 win7x64

Please provide any additional information below.

I've found the 'culprit' to be the 'in' and 'out' lights in the
"emulatorCore"(s)
the lights(live.buttons) should be set to be 'hidden' rather than
'automated and stored'
took 5 mins. to fix.

I've also took the liberty of making an 'audio fx' version.
this way I have monomeemu sit on a 'group' track ..
and the monome apps on seperate Midi Tracks within it.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ! (this app has been a lifesaver !)
