The 'Original' Bug
[The team marked this bug as a duplicate of the following bug]
Name attribute is too restrictive.
Steps to reproduce:
edit 1 n/X Æ A-12
Expected: Command executes successfully.
Actual: Error message "Names should only contain alphanumeric characters and spaces, and it should not be blank"
Reason: In the current day and age, there are many names with special characters. E.g. X Æ A-12, Zeta-Jones, Beyoncé. In order to be inclusive of everyone, special characters should be allowed in the name attribute. The current implementation is overzealous input validation and is restrictive.
