I would like to access all tweets from @BitmexRekt. Do you archive the historic liquidations anywhere? If not could you download all the tweets via the archive function and upload the zip-file for a donation of BTC? Thank you very much for your work kind sir.

Are u storing these events from bitmex somewhere? Can u plz share this history ?
I was also trying to download history from twitter, but unfortunately there is a limitation of 3200 tweets in the Twitter API.

For huge liquidations the number of 100k medals takes up most of the tweet and usually means there isn't enough room for any snark. Would be able to eliminate this by using a log scale of some sort, or by having another medal for 1M so that a 5.5M liquidation only results in 10 medals rather than 55.

Hey, I am trying to run this bot and I am unable to get it working. I'm pretty new to building bots, but I have some experiencing creating and deploying them. Can you please help me try to run this bot? I'm not sure what files I need and what I need to download. Thanks

Whenever I see this, I assume it means:

3,722,291 xbt @ $14,130.50 usd/xbt

But that would be $50 billion, which is obviously wrong.

So actually the quantity is the USD amount?

$3,722,291 usd @ $14,130.50 usd/xbt

Maybe for clarity, just add a $ sign.

Or just a USD suffix

I don't know if you have any pairs that are not USD, but something like this would be clearer.

Please add a license, the legality of being a contributor to this project is questionable otherwise.

I will continue to try get the main account unbanned. In the interim and if that account never gets unbanned. BitmexRekt is back as @BXRekt.

On July 23rd I've received a notice from Twitter that the @BitmexRekt bot has been reported for impersonation and that I should change the handle or they may suspend the account.

On July 24th the account has been suspended by Twitter.

I believe this is an honest mistake on their part, since all the bot does is post the liquidation stream from Bitmex and in the profile it clearly states that it is not an official Bitmex entity.

By Twitter's own policies:

The account must portray another entity in a misleading or deceptive manner.
An account will not be removed if:
The user shares your name but has no other commonalities, or
The profile clearly states it is not affiliated with or connected 
to any similarly-named individuals or brands.

I've filed an appeal to twitter to unsuspend the bot and they decided to come back with this.

Impersonation is pretending to be another entity in order to deceive,
and is strictly prohibited. This account has been suspended and will not be restored.

Apparently they believe that the bot is impersonating someone. At this point I still don't know who they are accusing me of impersonating.

I suspect that no human actually works on Twitter's account appeals.

If any of you enjoyed the bot and would like to see it come back, please get the word out and hopefully a real person from Twitter will un-suspend it.

I have "appealed" using Twitter's forms a few times and has got the same response every single time.
