So the roadmap as it stands is not exactly useful for contributors and users alike, since all it is for now is a sticky-notes board of stuff we'd like to implement in lite-xl, with no mention of specifics, tentative date or even any way to dealing with stuff we've already implemented.

I think the roadmap needs to be properly remade from the ground up, and here are some of the things I want in it:

0. we should make our release schedule a bit more rigorous, and should order our roadmap based on things we expect to be implemented in version x.y.z
1. if an issue is being worked on in a branch, it should be mentioned.
2. if an issue has been fixed or a feature implemented, there should be checkboxes or something to mark them off, since it gives a sense of satisfaction to the contributors when they their work actually making an impact.

this should be a good start for a proper roadmap, and i'll be submitting a draft in a couple of hours (with placecholder info, I would like @adamharrison and @Guldoman to fill up the info in that).
