Deepin Screen Recorder

This is default screen recorder application for Deepin.

Dependencies

In debian, use below command to install compile dependencies:

libc6 (>= 2.14), libgcc1 (>= 1:3.0), libgl1-mesa-glx | libgl1, libqt5core5a (>= 5.6.0~beta), libqt5dbus5 (>= 5.0.2), libqt5gui5 (>= 5.2.0), libqt5network5 (>= 5.0.2), libqt5widgets5 (>= 5.0.2), libqt5x11extras5 (>= 5.6.0), libstdc++6 (>= 4.1.1), libx11-6, libxcb-util0 (>= 0.3.8), libxcb1, libxext6, libxtst6

Installation

mkdir build
cd build
qmake ..
make
./deepin-screen-recorder

Usage

Select area need to record
Then click "record" button to record
Click tray icon to stop record, and save file on desktop

Below is keymap list for deepin-screen-recorder:

Function	Shortcut
Cancel	ESC
Adjust position of select area	Up, Down, Left, Right
Adjust size of select area	Ctrl + Up, Down, Left, Right
Stop record	Same keystroke that start deepin-screen-recorder

Config file

Configure file save at: ~/.config/deepin/deepin-screen-recorder/config.conf

You can change default format for save file.

Ubuntu 18.04

How to install on ubuntu 18.04?

Hopefully deepin-screen-recorder can add a new feature,pin image to desktop

I think this is a feature that can significantly improve office productivity.Since deepin-screen-recorde didn't have this feature, I had to install an extra tool,flameshot

Missing git tag for 5.8.0.61 release

5.8.0.61 is found in community edition but there is no such tag here.

[BUG] Program has an un-expected behavior from 5.8.0.39 to any version above 39

What have I done

Update deepin-screen-recorder from 5.8.0.39 to 5.8.0.40/5.8.0.41/..../5.8.0.46

What happend

After update to any version above 5.8.0.40 (include 5.8.0.40). When taking screen shot, screen becomes darker but the cursor not change to "cross" shape, and there is a warnning:

This bug only happened when I connect my extend monitor.It will NOT happen if I only have one monitor.

KDE task bar locks up for 50 seconds while processing a screenshot

Hello,

First of all, thanks for creating this tool.
I've got a problem, when I take a screenshot my KDE Task bar locks up. I cant use my top bar, I can however use alt-tab.

It also takes a long time to capture the screenshot. which you can see in the logs below.

Cannot use on Arch Linux

Since the last update, I cannot tell what version was running before, but the current one that is giving me issues:

deepin-screen-recorder 1230 (from command line)

or: deepin-screen-recorder-5.8.0.61-1 (from pacman)

It doesn't show anything from deepin-screen-recoder and it won't let you use any app until you click ESCAPE so deepin-screen-recorder is finalized.

I don't know what to do for debugging this further. Please let me know if I can provide you with more data

[Feature Request] Remember last used configuration

It would be neat to let the application remember your preferences. When you open the app and have previously used settings.

D-Bus method "StartScreenshotFor3rd " cannot save screenshots with specific filename

System: deepin v20.1
deepin-screen-recorder: version 5.8.1

Call D-Bus method StartScreenshotFor3rd , passed the argument "/tmp/123.png" as filepath with specific filename. But the screenshot saved in ~/Pictures folder, instead of the folder I provided .

D-Bus method SavePathScreenshot works well.

Permission error when deleting screenshot

Issue: Popup occurs when deleting (right click delete) a screenshot from the desktop but the file is actually deleted. This does not happen when the screenshot has been saved to the picture directory.

Default photo, videos and gif folder

Hi, thanks for this great work.

GIF works very good with the screen recorder software.

But i think that all gif, videos and photos have to be in his respective user folders and not in the desktop.
Also put settings for customization will be great.

DDE crashes...

If I try to record the screen with Deepin screen recorder, then DDE crashes..... please fix this issue

Only works on monitor where the mouse was in during startup

Nontheless there is an issue I noticed:

I have a three monitor environment and no matter which monitor I am starting the screen recorder from, it only works on the primary one.

[suggestion] deepin-screen-recoder should add a function that can pin a image to the desktop like flameshot, it is helpful

MP4 doesn't save the file

I'm running DDE over Ubuntu. I can save a .gif but not .mp4. I tried to change the .config file, but the modifications do not prevail.

Feature proposal: Add delayed screen capture option

Can you add this delayed screen capture option with timer... it is very usefull when you want to catch dropdown menus ot pop-ups... snipping tool on Windows 10 has this option... example

Change frame rate

Is there a way to change the frame rate in Deepin Screen Recorder?

[Feature Request] Allow to record while in-game

Right now when you get into the game, Deepin automatically turns off window effects altogether with an ability to record your screen. I wonder if it's possible to keep recording available. It find this tool very powerful and making this possible would let people conveniently share their game experience with friends.

Do not save mp4

If I make a screen record in gif it works perfectly, but if I make it in mp4 it does not create any file.

The log error is: "Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key[x11grab @ 0x560fd57b0a60] Cannot open display :0.0+837,201, error 1."

if I make a echo $DISPLAY I get :1

I think it would be a good solution to be able to indicate the display by configuration (config.conf file)

[feature request] Possibility to record without the cursor

Currently, the videos are recorded along with the cursor. I couldn't find an option to disable it, so sometime, when there's time for small fixes, this one would be nice.

[Feature Request] support screenshot save choice as: saveToClipboard or saveAsFile

简而言之：希望截图 保存到剪切板 和 保存为文件 这两个选项可以独立可以独立；
即支持以下选项组合 a) 只保存到剪切板 b) 保存到剪切板同时不保存为文件 c) 不保存到剪切板但保存为文件，但不支持 d) 都不保存

虽然这里的代码和deepin v20 （1001）公测的不一样，~~但目前看到 subToolWidget::initShotLabel 中OptionMenu的配置 saveToDesktopAction/saveToPictureAction/... 通过if-else来实现互斥操作。~~ （ok，需要两个"save_op"并且t_saveGroup使用 QActionGroup::ExclusionPolicy::None，不能简单的用setExclusive来实现，如果可以的话我可以来提pull request）
我认为可以按照上面提到的逻辑来重新实现，这样用起来更方便。

如果可以的话，我可以提出pull request吗？
