In settings, add the option, so the temperature in celsius can be changed to fahrenheit.

Pressing the info button in the teas menu could first ask you "Go to Wikipedia?" or something like that, before opening a website. This can prevent accidental touches and opening a browser by accident, and it asks you so you know what it does.

The temperature information about teas get cut off at the bottom of the screen for most of the teas, see screenshots:

• to save taps: 1 to start and 1 to stop instead of 2 to start and 2 to stop and reset;
• to run two or more timers at once.
  

Tapping is especially annoying.

Hello, I found a problem with the app's UI design. When I started timing, I found a "RESET" widget in the upper right corner with an "hourglass" icon. If I only saw this "hourglass" icon, I might think it was used to set the time. But obviously it is used to reset time. The hourglass is slightly related to “RESET", which can easily mislead users. So, for better user experience, could you try to fix this issue?

When the timer is finished, the pause button could change to a stop button (since there is no reason to pause after the timer is finished)

Add a settings menu, where the app could be customized (themes, sounds, temperature type etc.)

LineageOS, and I suspect plenty of other official ROMs, have an unconfigurable tile called "Coffee." I imagine that you, as well as I, drink far more tea than coffee. It would be nice to have this timer in the quicktiles menu. Ideally it would simply display a submenu upon click displaying tea you would like to make and issue the countdown.

Here is the documentation on creating such a thing. Unfortunately, I am hopeless inept when it comes to programming, so this is nothing but a feature request.

I really like your app's potential as it's curently my favourite open source tea timer app, but it's missing some important features and i haven't seen any development in a while. Is the project abandoned ?

• In the main screen, the tea information/picture could be on top and te timer button and countdown at the bottom, it's also easier to reach the button if it's on the bottom side and i think it would look better

timer stops when the activity goes to backround, there by its useless. please fix that with a good working Android service that won't even stop countong under high load.

I tend to always have my default notiflcation sound to be silent and as neither the app or Android notification settings allow me to set a different sound for Material Tea Timer, I don't hear when the tea is ready. I think it doesn't even vibrate.
