This standalone version can be configured by modifying the target time in
main.js. View the timer by opening index.html in any modern browser.
If countdown goes into triple digits or above, the display seems to cap out at 99 and this may be a limit in supporting modules for aesthetic reasons. System likely still functions correctly, but with 99 meaning "too far away to display fully." If possible, support triple digits, although anything over that would look messy.
This was a problem in the original so maybe we just ignore it.
