Adding on to this.
It seems that this option has some weird effect on performance, when enabled my fps drops down to 60 instead of the locked 144 and my background (Shader Pipeline > simple snow) also slows down significantly.
The option is basically a performance hit.
I can't see any changes in resource usage (granted i'm using task manager for that).
I have not tried it out ingame so i can't say if it effects game performance, i already had half a stroke when i noticed the lag (already having a LOT of pc issues today).
PC specs for reference:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro 6G
Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB @3200mhz
