You are able to change the Hotkey Enable button. Could you expand on what you're asking?

I have different types of gamepads, and for each type of gamepad, a different configuration is required. This includes configuring the hotkey, but unfortunately "Retroarch" currently does not provide the option to save which type of key will be used individually for a given type of gamepad.

What causes the hotkey option to not be saved with the other keys, every time I change a gamepad, I am forced to reconfigure all the keys that are in the "Hotkey" menu.

In the image below we see "Button 8" selected, if I change my "Gamepad", this button does not have the same settings as the new "Game.

My suggestion is very simple: change the moment in which the "Hotkey" button must be configured, that is, the "Hotkey" key must be configured in the "Port Controls" menu, together with the other keys, as this way the button that defines the "Hotkey" key will be saved, along with the other keys. Eliminating the need to reconfigure this key every time a "Gamepad" is replaced.

With this change, the "Hotkey" key definition option could be eliminated, or just "frozen", within the Hotkey menu.

If you have any doubts about the problem I reported, or about the solution I suggested, just ask me again.
