Dev builds drop the services that were configured in latest 0.10.1 release

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install latest 0.10.1 release. https://github.com/LibreRambox/LibreRambox/releases/tag/v0.10.1
  2. Start LibreRambox and configure at least one service. Its folder can be seen in ~/.config/LibreRambox/Partitions
  3. Close LibreRambox completely.
  4. Upgrade to a dev build, e.g. f676fc3 from PR #18. (LibreRambox-linux-amd64.deb from https://github.com/LibreRambox/LibreRambox/actions/runs/8309866257)
  5. Start LibreRambox.

Expected behavior

The previously configured service(s) is/are still up and running.

Actual behavior

The previously configured service(s) is/are missing.

Nevertheless, when adding the missing service again, it immediately appears in its last state (i.e. logged in).

Slack workspaces are unusable within LibreRambox

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create/load a Slack workspace

Expected behavior

The Slack workspace loads normally.

Actual behavior

I receive this message; when clicking use Slack in your browser, it tries loading then loops back to the same message:

Click "Open Slack" to launch the desktop app.
Not working? You can also use Slack in your browser.

I have tried restarting rambox, resetting the workspace within rambox, and restarting the computer. This issue affects all Slack workspaces in rambox; the workspaces work when loaded in a full browser.

This wasn't an issue around ~2 weeks ago; perhaps a Slack update caused this?

ENVIRONMENT

LibreRambox:
Version: 0.9.0
Platform: linux (x64)
Electron: 25.3.2
Chromium: 114.0.5735.248
Node: 18.15.0

OS: Ubuntu 18.04

Arch: x64

Slack opens in browser

Steps to reproduce

  1. connect to a private Slack
  2. click on Workspace

Expected behavior

to load the chat inside LibreRambox

Actual behavior

shows a Workspaces selector, but after clicking on one of them, it opens them in the browser

Google chat malfunctioning: 'browser not secure' + systray icon not becoming red

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add google chat or google mail
  2. Log in at the webpage

Expected behavior

Google chat and google mail work as expected, including the systray icon becoming red when a message is received.

Actual behavior

  1. Google chat and google mail cannot be accessed:

afbeelding

  1. With an older, existing google chat service in LibreRambox, which I never logged out from, the login remains active and google chat remains working โ€“ except that the systray icon never becomes red when a message is received (even though the notifications work).

Question: is there a way to configure handling of links at Operating System level to LibreRambox?

Steps to reproduce

  1. I have a platform specific link like https://whatever.slack.com/messages/C05KWXXXXXX
  2. The link does open with the app, and it loads the correct Slack tab, but it doesn't deep-link to the specific thread

Expected behavior

Having the app to integrate with platform specific links, like the native apps.

Actual behavior

Opens Librebox and the correct platform, but doesn't link to the correct location within the platform itself

ENVIRONMENT

LibreRambox: v0.10.1

OS: Fedora 39 with default Gnome

Arch: x64
