The project uses the permissive MIT license, yet the Copyright section includes following statement:

The use of the resources provided by this project shall be done in a way that your modifications to the code, distribution thereof or use of the provided files does not imply any endorsement by the authors or copyright holders of this project. You shall not use this project or contents thereof in the name of the authors or copyright holders unless explicitly permitted.

For a better clarity, a license already adding such a notion should be used, e.g. the permissive 3-Clause BSD license, as the third clause is as follows:

Neither the name of the copyright holder nor the names of its contributors may be used to endorse or promote products derived from this software without specific prior written permission

Other than that, the new BSD license is highly similar to the MIT license, such that a change of the license should have no negative implications.
