userscripts's Introduction

[!] Development of this script has stopped since it's available as a browser extension now.

A script for The Pirate Bay which allows you to hide unwanted torrents, hide (or warn about) potential fakes based on some basic logic, add highlights so you can easily distinguish between different types of releases, and highlight your favorite uploaders. This script is a fork of a script by nicobelic.

This script can also be found at Greasyfork.

A script for Subscene which cleans up unwanted languages, duplicate subtitles, hides trailer subtitles, marks good uploaders and adds some overall tweaks to it's UI.

This script can also be found at Greasyfork.

A script for Letterboxd which creates icons to easily search for the current film on popular torrent- and some other websites.

This script can also be found at Greasyfork.

A script to hide Person1 liked Person2 โ˜… review of MOVIE from the activity feed

Quick and dirty written script, will probably rewrite it some day

Allows you to hide users you don't like, simply right click on their avatar and a box will popup to ask for blocking confirmation.
Will hide this user and their reviews from any page (might've missed some but don't think I did)

userscripts's Issues

Look into how to convert this into a proper extension

In stead of this hacked together way of loading the prefs into the actual script let's look into how to create an actual extension out of it.
Use Webextension API?
Shouldn't be too hard to convert simple JS injection to a extension compatible with modern browsers.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/Your_first_WebExtension
https://wiki.mozilla.org/WebExtensions/FAQ#Are_they_compatible_with_Chrome_and_Opera.3F
https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/getstarted

Script doesn't work with Tampermonkey

Can't get it to run in Tampermonkey 4.3
Console logs these warnings which make me think it's related to when the script is injected

content: normal start event processing for 4ea66633-923a-4f36-b176-06be6d9e8c81 (1 to run) content.js:25:439
content: Start ENV normally 4ea66633-923a-4f36-b176-06be6d9e8c81 content.js:12:362
content: detected DOMContentLoaded 4ea66633-923a-4f36-b176-06be6d9e8c81 content.js:10:46

but I've tried all the different @run-at's and nothing makes a difference.
Not sure what to do now.
