phase-3-lecture-videos-sql-joins's Issues

Video

The information displayed is really small and even will fullscreen it's hard to read.

Text in video is completely illegible

Canvas Link

Concern

Video is too small to even read the text, which is completely illegible. And also, the video (and all the others on SQL) moves too quickly through this demonstration without bothering to explain what is happening.

Additional Context

No response

Suggested Changes

A longer video with a more detailed explanation of what's happening, along with text that you can actually read (the text in the video is completely illegible at the current size, even when you make the video fullscreen).

Too difficult to see the letters

Poor Video Quality

Concern

The provided videos are typically very helpful (from phase 1 and 2 specifically), but to be honest the video quality in each of the SQL videos provided are not up to par and makes them feel barely worth watching. The audio is bad in each video with the instructor's voice largely being drowned out by the background noise, and it's incredibly tough to read what is being written (not only is the text small, but it's very blurry and sometimes impossible to read). This just makes every harder to follow than is necessary.

Suggested Changes

I'd recommend remaking all of the videos in this phase. The audio is an easy fix (whatever microphone was used by the same woman from earlier on was great!). A little bit of editing to provide a zoomed in section on the viewer's screen would help a ton as well (similar to how YouTube channels like "WebDevSimplified" or "Hyperplexed" do so - just a box that has the primary code/content zoomed in on much more significantly than the rest of the page). Until something like that is implemented I suppose keeping the current versions up is better than nothing but they really should be redone in my opinion. Again, love the resource of videos to follow along, it's just the production quality! Thanks!

Did y'all review this before uploading it?

I, as well as the other students that I've spoken with, cannot read what is happening in these videos. I've tried growing it to full size of a 27 inch monitor. I've tried shrinking it to a 14 inch monitor. Either way it's unusable.
At least I could hear them in this one, for a change.
