Exercise 1 is confusing, the question is unclear.
The question should be:
"what is the probability of scheduling male students first, then the female students"

then denominator and numerator should be flipped.

A,B,C = male students / D, E, F= female students

ABC can be shuffled 6 ways (3!), same with DEF

so 6*6 = 36, and then if you want the probability of observing that outcome you do 36/(6!)
where 6! is the total number of permutations.
