Ruby application that will return a string of words to a user input in Leetspeak based on specified criteria.

• Clone this repository
• Run bundle install in the project root.
• Run ruby app.rb
• Open localhost:4567 in your web browser

• Returns a string as is when no Leetspeak rules apply
  • Example input: jumpy
  • Example output: jumpy
• Replaces every "e" or "E" in a string with a "3"
  • Example input: keep
  • Example output: k33p
• Replaces every "o" or "O" in a string with a "0"
  • Example input: boo boo
  • Example output: b00 b00
• Replaces every "I" in a string with a "1"
  • Example input: I like Ike
  • Example output: 1 lik3 1k3
• Replaces every "t" or "T" in a string with a "7"
  • Example input: teeth
  • Example output: 7337h
• Replaces every "a" or "A" in a string with a "4"
  • Example input: happy
  • Example output: h4ppy
• Replaces every "s" or "S" in a string with a "z"
  • Example input: roses
  • Example output: r0z3z
• Does not replace first letter when it is an "s"
  • Example input: sassafrass
  • Example output: s4zz4fr4zz
• Replaces letters correctly in a string of words
  • Example input: I scream you scream we all scream for raspberry ice cream.
  • Example output: 1 scr34m y0u scr34m w3 4ll scr34m f0r r4zpb3rry ic3 cr34m
