Not essential, but some file sizes don't display correct values, f.ex.:

WSL Disk Shrinker starts normally but ends without any message during the initial search for disc images.

As per title, this app fails on the new SparseVHD experimental settings format which is enabled here:

I installed WSLDiskShrinker through winget, and on the first run, it was blocked by the Controlled Folder Access feature of Windows Security, despite the fact I was running C:\Program Files (x86)\WSLDiskShrinker\WSLDiskShrinker.exe as an administrator.

Now, this is not abnormal; I have had to manually add quite a few applications to the allowlist for them to function as designed.

However, I did not receive any indication from WSLDiskShrinker itself that it had been blocked nor any feedback on whether the situation had affected the app's ability to effectively shrink the .vhdx that was being processed at the time of the incident.

And since I had Focus Assist turned on, I had no clue until hours later that something had potentially gone wrong during the operation. It was an easy fix; I manually added C:\Program Files (x86)\WSLDiskShrinker\WSLDiskShrinker.exe to the allowlist on the Controlled Folder Access management screen and then reran the program.

But still, it would be nice if the app generated at least a notification to let the user know that it was blocked so the correction could be made right away. :)
