Calculating the rocket's acceleration

For convenience, here's how I calculated the y-acceleration in the kaitlyn branch.

In the Step Event of oRocket:

// Decrease the amount of fuel when the thruster is pressed 
with (fuel_amt) {	
	if (up_key || down_key) {
		fuel_amt -= 1;
		mass = 100 + fuel_amt;
	}
}

X- acceleration would be the same, except it would be based on the left and right arrows. 

// Y - Acceleration = Force / mass 
y_acceleration = 2500 / mass;		// Assuming the thrust is 2500 N
