Wondering if this can be extended to get Heart Rate Variability by having a longer reading.
According to a paper, if we accurate manage to measure the time between 2 peaks (the heartbeat). I would be able to put in some algorithms to calculate the HRV.

because on web camera not support following feature

Exposure mode, point, and offset
Focus mode and point
Sensor orientation
Image format group
Streaming of frames

I wish to know how confident are we when we are showing BPM, I understand we can't be 100% accurate but by how much?

Also could you share some logic of how we calculate BPM with video?

Hello, are you planning to update the package? I use it in my project, but the camera version etc. may not compatible with other packages.

Hi, does it have a function that would only scan for 30 seconds? And averages bpm on a 30 second scan?

i want to add fingertip detection when user try to measure heartbeat if fingertip is detected then counting will be start otherwise you can show text fingertip not detected
