Albmer

Albmer will scrape various music related sites for album reviews and ratings. This data will be displayed to users for Billboard top music charts and for individual artists or albums available through custom searches.

Get Discogs Album Rating: GET /scraper/discogsRatings
Get RateYourMusic Album Rating: GET /scraper/rateYourMuiscRatings
Get Pitchfork Album Rating: GET /scraper/pitchforkRatings
Get Metacritic Album Rating: GET /scraper/metacriticRatings

Billboard Album Matcher

This endpoint will be used to get review urls for albums in the Billboard charts

Need to find a way to include artist links in the MusicBrainz callback and update docs to include the new api endpoint.

RateYourMusic Scraper

Use an HTML parser to scrape the rateyourmusic webpage for ratings. The album-specific rateyourmusic url will be fetched through the API/artistDetails endpoint

Website Homepage

The Homepage will include a search bar, billboard top charts and anything else we need to add later.

Artist/Album page

Data for the artist and album pages can be retrieved from API/artistDetails and API/albumDetails respectively

Search Result page

The search result page will be where the artist and album results are displayed

Allmusic scraper

Use an HTML parser to scrape the allmusic webpage for ratings. The album-specific allmusic url will be fetched through the API/artistDetails endpoint

Discogs scraper

Use an HTML parser to scrape the discogs webpage for ratings. The album-specific discogs url will be fetched through the API/artistDetails endpoint.
