The missing pf_ring module isn't an issue. We're looking into the issue related to Tracer failure to initialize.

This issue is solved?
Have the same issue with:
Debian 12, k8s v1.24.6, kernel 6.1.0-17-amd64, kubeshark v0.52.1.30
i also skipped pf_ring.

tested on EKS 1.29 with AMI ami-050ba421d75b6a268 - it has cgroups V2 and kernel 6.2.0-1018-aws tag v52.1.40-dev

Hi,
After switching to v52.1.40-dev,
I can pass the previews error but there is a new one.
Im using on-prem server (debian 12)
ERR tracer/bpf_logger.go:107 > [bpf] [15680663608341934] Unable to get go user-kernel context [fd: 14]]

This is another issue: kubeshark/tracer#34
This error is not fatal unlike the original of this issue

@flobaader can you please give us also more info on what was the OS used on the nodes of that cluster where you've tried to run Kubeshark? Specifically OS family and version
upd:
found it on upcloud. It is their default debian. Compiled pf-ring for kernel 6.1.0-10-amd. So it can be used now on this platform
