When two AIs play, they make moves in succession (1-2, 1-2, 1-2, ...). It would be nice if players were run in separate threads, and the one that decides on a move first moves first.

There could also be a third thread, handling the grid.

Difficulty calculation should be done differently for AI/human players. AI doesn't have a 100 ms of phantom vision, therefore a human is at a disadvantage when high frame rates are used.

These could be two separate settings.

Some AIs consistently change direction on the very first move. This makes sense, of course, if the move is optimal. However, it could also be useful to have a countdown timer before the game starts, for slow humans.

Note that in Pong/TRON, both players always start pointing inward the grid, towards each other. This gives a small time frame to decide on the move.
