This repository contains instructions for students doing a PA, BA, VT or MT using ADS-B data at the Centre for Aviation. This includes step-by-step instructions on how to set up an appropriate Python installation, as well as some tutorials on how to work with the Traffic Python library.
Before getting started, it is worth taking some time to set up a proper Python installation and programming environment. Navigate to the setup folder to see the recommended step-by-step instructions to do this.
The Traffic Python library is the primary tool for working with ADS-B data and greatly simplifies many tasks. The traffic folder contains a series of notebooks with examples of how some basic things can be done.
