Add unit tests
Need to start writing tests for the jirafinder package
Review and suggestions for the improvements
The app currently does this thing
- Reads the config file for the filters and fields to retrieve.
- Constructs the JQL based on the filters
- Calls the JIRA REST API endpoint with the filters and required fields
- Downloads the results to csv.
Made this app to automate internal metrics preparation with my team.
Need suggestions to improvise the app so that it can used by everyone in generic.
Refactor code to enable writing unit tests
Currently there are too many goroutines and channels in the implementations.
Writing unit tests becomes complex because of this.
Need to refactor the code in the correct way.
Feature Request: Ability to render json or markdown instead of csv only
Add more options for output
I'm thinking to something like --md or --json or --csv (default) that can be provided to the command-line
