Goal

• Create a simple menu and UI for the player that tracks score, health and oxygen.

Details

• Create a simple menu by using the default Godot labels and buttons and do the same for score, health and oxygen
• The UI does not have to be functional yet, it just needs to exist as a placeholder for now.

It seems there are some missing assets.

I tried opening res://scenes/Tilesets.tscn and got a warning about the following missing asset.

res://assets/art/tilesets/Pipoya RPG Tileset 32x32/[A]_type1/[A]Dirt1-Dirt2_pipo.png

The Darkness mechanic is what the player is running away from and its in constant motion towards positive X side (right)

It can be made as a layer of sorts that overlays and darkens the level(s) behind it.

On each new game, the Darkness should be a fair distance away from the player.

NOTE: As the player goes through levels, the Darkness should come closer to the Player on each start of a new level.
