parity on kovan testnet stalling when in daemon mode

  • Parity/v1.6.0-unstable-d3ee15c-20170131/x86_64-linux-gnu/rustc1.14.0

My parity client often stalls and loses connections (0/0/25) when I run it in daemon mode

 /usr/bin/parity daemon /tmp/parity.pid --chain=/home/ethadm/.local/share/io.parity.ethereum/kovan.json

This doesn't happen if I call it without "daemon" argument

Ideas?

Block 310000 had wrong hash

Parity generates the following error logs:

Encountered error during block restoration: Block 310000 had wrong hash. expected d5fcb8508553d800778760fd816363196adb22e1f80cdf36c4bc94846e5ecf70, got 138abcc785383a0cf25eedd6cef30e3bd1896a6094652b299ac3d62e5f1569a
