With event type 11296012, I see the row

9 cc- meson: $geq$ 0, open-charm hadron: $geq$ 2, muon: 0 , electron : 0

which is human readable enough, but for bonus points the $geq$ should be converted into a proper greater-or-equal symbol

i was just wondering if i can (ab/re)use the event type builder to tell me where in the bookkeeping to look for "interesting" event types.

as in "I look for some neutral B, decaying to open charm, but no leptons, i actually don't care if cocktail or fully forced decays… give the the pattern of event types to look for".

the main addition that the event type builder would need is a "skip question" button, so one has a few more "X" in the final event type.

The missing templates are:

builder/get_gas_type.html
builder/get_eta_range.html
builder/get_four_momentum.html

but it also possible (and sometimes necessary) to choose none of them.

Hi @KonstantinSchubert. There is some interest on the lhcb-simulation list in cloning this to the CERN GitLab and making it an official LHCb project. As the author, are you OK with this? I suggest adding a licence to the repo either way. The CB plans to adopt GPLv3 for all LHCb software soon, so that would be most suitable.

Paul Seifert: i suggest you accept numbers larger than 9 but write 9 to the eventtype
