pvr.filmon on Kodi 17 (LibreELEC) does not stream unless inputstream.adaptive and/or inputstream.rtmp are installed.
Adding <import addon="inputstream.adaptive" version="?.?.?"/> and <import addon="inputstream.rtmp" version="?.?.?"/> to <requires> in pvr.filmon/addon.xml.in would therefore simplify installation and avoid user frustration.
I do not know which version of inputstream.adaptive and inputstream.rtmp pvr.filmon requires, otherwise I would have submitted a pull request.

Addon defaults to HD channels which only plays for 3 minutes when you do not have a paid subscription. kindly add option to choose between HD or low quality as default. this way users with a subscription can use hd by default whilst users without paid subscription can view free sd channels.

According to https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.filmon/blob/master/pvr.filmon/addon.xml.in, the current version is 2.0.1. Can you please tag this release?

Releases make things a lot easier for distributions (in my case, Gentoo) to package the add-on.

I checked the configuration and my email address is there so &login= should have a value.

Please add support for PVR_RECORDING.iChannelUid. Although PVR Addon API declares this property as optional, some Kodi features cannot work if the channel uid is not given with a recording, namely the "red dot" indicating an in-progress recording in pvr recordings window and recently recorded home screen widget, the right context menu entries for recordings in progess, maybe others.

Unfortunately, there is no reliable fix in Kodi possible without an PVR addon API change (which I plan for Kodi v19, btw.).

Thus, I kindly ask the maintainer of this addon or anybody else with the needed skills to add support for PVR_RECORDING.iChannelUid so we can fix the above mentioned issues for Kodi v18.

Having Kodi crashes with my rPi2 and latest Milhouse LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0) when TVheadend and Filmon PVR (backends/frontends) are both enabled at same time.

After a nummber of crashes (four/five) kodi eventually starts cleanly and is then stable.

Hope someone knowledgable can take a look and hopefully provided a fix to this very useful pvr addon.

I'm having issues using Filmon PVR with other backends.
I've tried running Filmon alongside IPTV Simple and MythTV (Filmon/IPTV Simple or Filmon/MythTV) whenever I do this Filmon will log in but usually wont load the channels, the few occasions when filmon channels are loaded the EPG data is empty while the other backent will be loaded correctly.
When Filmon is run on its own the channels and EPG are both loaded correctly.

include(CPack)

to the end of the top-level CMakeLists.txt to support addon packaging into an archive. See e.g. https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hts/blob/master/CMakeLists.txt#L92 for how it's done in pvr.hts.

Pretty much as the title suggests, something within that package is required by the filmon client that isn't available either within the software-properties-common (which is what is being claimed as it's replacement according to apt) or python3-software-properties.

What package is specifically being called within that bundle that's currently missing within my fresh install of Kubuntu 20.04?

Streaming Playback not working in either environment, understand this is due to unavailability of inputstream.rtmp in krypton or a valid alternative that pvr.filmon knows to utilize to playback filmon streams?

I have Kodi Krypton installed on my Raspberry Pi 3B. The only PVR client I have installed is the FilmOn one. Whenever I turn it on, in the top right hand side it says: Importing guide from clients: 5% ITV. I have tried restarting it several times and I still have this issue. I have attached a image of what I mean.

I'm not currently able to stream from FilmOn on a freshly installed Ubuntu 16.04 Kodi setup.

Based on the recommendation of another active ticket on the project I have installed the following using apt (from the official kodi repo):

• kodi-inputstream-adaptive
• kodi-inputstream-rtmp

Sadly this didn't resolve the issue. Everything looks like it's going to work until I start the stream - then I get nothing visually (other than the loading stream animation) and the following in the log file:

Although a Filmon user can succesfully set recordings to Filmon server via the Kodi TV EPG, I do not believe that user Recording playback is currently working. Any chance of this being added (if not already) with ref to kodi forum post http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=269673

I know this is probably not the right place for this issue, but I am trying to find a way to re-install the FilmOn PVR client, after accidentally un-installing it from Kodi on my Amazon Fire TV, as it no longer appears in the PVR Client list.

I have already downloaded the Jarvis zip file, and tried to install it, but I get an error message, and I can't install.

What is the easiest way for me to re-install the FilmOn PVR client again?

Trying pvr.filmon addon in LibreElec on Rpi2 Kodi (LibreELEC (Jarvis 16.1-RC2) v6.90.005)

Currently unable to modify favorites channel sort provided by Filmon within kodi Tv Settings, Channel Manager. (Can move channels up/down in list within channel manager but save doesn't do anything)

Note: Additionally I added a request on Filmon support site today to see if sorting can be provided from within free filmon account. (prior to request from Kodi to update favorites list on a restart of kodi for example)

Checked in background settings files of pvr.filmon and cannot find file that provides the sort seen in Kodi TV interface.
