I just noticed that you used the X11 license on the GUI code. Would you mind changing it to GPL v3 to match what I wrote?

This needs a GUI.

I would like to be able to switch between speed and pace, or (better) show both. Would that be hard to implement?

We need a better name than "Linux Distance Tracker".

I can do this, but I don't want to mess up anything you're doing.

As you (@Armen138 ) have seen, it is not very accurate, and shows significant distances even when sitting in one place. It does it with my laptop as well as your PinePhone.

For better integration with a gui front-end, we need all functions to accept a callback.
We should at least get:

• gps fix
• location
• speed
• climb speed
• altitude

Ideally, if we can, we should detect the loss of a gps fix and attempt to re-acquire it automatically
