When looking up a person to add to a team, typing in the name of that person should also look for that person, in addition to entering the person’s ID. ID, along with name, should also be displayed in the result to help avoid errors.

Gender field should be used when a new athlete is being added. This information should also be used to crosscheck when adding an athlete to a team, e.g., it should not be possible to add a woman to a men’s team, and it should not be possible to add two women to a mixed team.

When looking up a new athlete to add to a team, the athlete(s) already on the team should not be shown in the results. This is to prevent duplicate athletes on the roster. Alternatively, an attempt to add an existing athlete to a roster should result in an error message.
