PIXELIFY MAGISK MODULE

A Magisk Module which enables Pixel UI and some exclusive features.

⭐ Requirements

Supported Android Versions: Android 7.0 to Android 13
ARM64 device
Volume Keys (optional)
Internet for downloading NGA Resources, Pixel Livewallpaper, Device Personalization Services & Pixel Launcher
Magisk v24 or above from Pixelify v2+
Zygisk or Riru (Recommended but not mandatory)
NOTE: Flash the module zip file in the Magisk Manager app only; flashing the module in TWRP or any other recovery won't work.

Unsupported Roms

Realme Ui (Android 14), Oxygen Os (Android 14) will not work. It will bootloop rom after reboot. only way is to fix it by factory reset. Don't Flash Pixelify on it. Pixelify sub modules will work on them.

If the main Pixelify module is not functioning properly, or is too big for your phone, Pixelify module also provides some sub-modules for standalone features:

Installation instructions for v3

Make Sure Play Store not installing when Pixelify is installing.
Magisk is Recommend
If using KSU, install KSU zygisk module first
Add Google Play Services and inside com.google.android.gms.unstable in DenyList.
On installation, If see error when installing Google Photos, then uninstalling updates of google apps

After Installations (For First Time Pixelify Installation):-

Playstore

Clear Playstore data
Open Playstore for 5-10 secs
Force Stop Playstore
Update Google App (For NGA & NGA Voice Typing)
Untick Auto Updates for Google Photos, Android System Intelligence (Don't Update these app from playstore)

Google Dialer

Clear Data
Open it for 5-10 secs
Force Stop Google Dialer
Open Google Dialer

Google App

After Updating Google app from playstore
Launch Google Assistant
Let it Download and setup everything
After setting up, automatically NGA Voice should work.

If NGA Voice typing not working then

Set main Language of phone and Gboard to Supported NGA Languages
Download 50xx Voice Pack in Google app
Restart

Google Photos

Clear Data
Make sure connected to WiFi
You may receive Updating Photos Editor, wait for it.
Google Photos may download around 300-400mb only with WiFi

Note: Photos editor tool struck Editing Tool will install soon

First Wait for sometimes and connect with WiFi
Reboot
if still not fixed (Reinstall Pixelify;- sometimes flags doesn't get patched due to gms performing action on database)

Working of Magic Editor, New Automatic Call Screening depends on Device, Kernel.

If Some features not working,

Make Sure to Select YES for Disable Internal Spoofing
Check file /sdcard/Pixelify/flaglog.txt if you find Status: Error xxxxx on some flags, then you may need to reinstall pixelify.

Installation without Volume Keys

Use packages with Pixelify-${version}-no_VK.zip
Place config.prop in your internal storage>Pixelify (/sdcard/Pixelify/config.prop)
Edit the prop file according to what features you want
(If you have any problem placing config.prop there then you also can extract and update config.prop inside the packages it automatically use it.)

Zygisk and Riru spoofing configuration

Pixel 5:- Google TTS, Google Play services, Pixel Buds, Nothing Smart Center, Netflix
Pixel XL:- Google Photos
Pixel 8 Pro:- Google app, Google one, Breel Wallpaper, Snapchat, Adobe Light Room
Pixel 6 Pro:- Rest Google apps except (all Google camera package)

Note :- Zygisk spoofing can't override PixelProp Utils.

a way to disable the pixel blue accent theme

it looks funky as hell on beta 3.1 when monet is activated on my pixel 5

Device Apps are being replace but not restored back

This module replaces the existing apps in the system (Like styles, pixel launcher, dialer) but doesn't restore them when a feature is turned off or when the module is removed from magisk.

I used this module and tuned on styles by the module when I did a reboot, the money engine's colour palette didn't show up
(even after I cleared data for styles app)
When I removed the module There was no styles app installed on my device, I couldn't even change wallpaper.

This shouldn't happen in magisk, system-less right?
Any possible way to fix this? without using this module

How to delete backup of module

I backed up pixel live wallpaper while installing the module for first time. But now I want to remove all the backups and clean install the module again. How can I do so.?

The reason for doing so is because I want to do so is because somehow the wallpaper app was deleted and after installing it again, I was not getting the features. So thought to to remove the module and install it again but on doing that. I am not getting features like screen attention, adaptive sound ans now play. Which were available earlier.

So I want to install the module again from beginning. How can I do it?

Photos Original quality unlimited uploads

Hi,

The mod works really great on OOS after removing some props from spoof.prop. I was wondering if there is a way to get unlimited original quality uploads in google photos like some custom roms have right now ( Evolution X, Pixel Experience, Pixel Extended ) with this module.

Google Fit Heart rate / Respiratory rate not working?

Hello,
I installed your module because I want to enable this awesome feature(s) of Google Fit. Installation went successfully, I saw that installer patched Google Fit, but I don't see this heart rate / respiratory rate tools anywhere.

I cleaned up Google Fit data, because I thought it may saved that this feature is not available on my device (because it's not pixel) but even after clean up these options aren't available

How to enable these features?

Bootloop on Oneplus 9

Oneplus 9 on latest OOS 11 updated from 1.4 to 1.5 caused bootloop. Currently booting into twrp to manually uninstall module. Reverting back to 1.4

Lost google pixel launcher after installing

Hey,
Thanks for the mod. I tried installing it on my pixel 2 stock rom. I used the latest release version (6th May one)

It removed the pixel launcher and there was no way to get it back. I can see the file(NexusLauncher) is still there in the system folder.

Some other observations :

Adaptive charging gets enabled but doesn't work on my phone. Were you able to get it working ?
Screen attention works. ( Can you tell me how do you enable it ?) I am using another mod right now which works better for my phone. I can integrate those changes in that mod.
NGA works
Didnt try other features like Fit, Duo features.

Also, is there a way to get extreme battery saver also work ?

I can't open stock camera and turn on flashlight but other app camera no problem.

Minor issues on Pixel 2 XL(Taimen) Stock ROM

I tried the latest mod on Stock Pixel 2 XL ROM.

Call recording doesn't work properly. Sometimes, it appears as recording failed and in some cases, even though it says it's recording, can't access the recording after the call unlike the Call Screen Recording.
Also, i tried setting up a con-call yesterday, there were some issues while merging calls. Not sure, if it is due to this module.
Now Playing stops working unless I delete following files from the module :
/system/etc/firmware/
music_detector.sound_model
music_detector.descriptor

Can you make this an option while installing the module, so that I can skip it. Thanks.

Adaptive Sound has stopped appearing in the menu latest version. It was working fine before the re-write.

Pixel 5 Spoofing now breaks safetynet as in Pixelify 1.71

Spoofing your device to a Pixel 5 to enable special functions such as, Adaptive Sound, New Generation Assistant, etc. Makes ctsProfile check fail, I have tested this in a CustomROM, DotOS, spoofing to my correct fingerprint made it pass again, but features are now shorter, tested with Pixelify 1.71, I will try it with 1.7 and see if it happens.

UPDATE: I got it to work with Pixelify 1.71 spoofing props to Pixel 5 in MagiskHide Props Config + Force BASIC key attestation on it for Pixel 6.

UPDATE2: I actually got it to work by modifying system.prop and setting the device model to be a Pixel 6, I got the old edit wrong, sorry

Request: Enable call screening in other languages too.

I live in India and people would have difficulty understanding the US English used in the call screening. It would be great to have the screening work other languages too like English (India).

Call recording removed from 1.81

I use the module without pixel spoofing and only the Google dialer features. I have tested multiple permutations of 1.81 with different versions and cannot get call recording. I then reverted to 1.8 and call recording was returned with beta and stable versions of the Google dialer app. Can you please return the call recording feature without spoof in the latest version? Thank you

No audio in calls at all on apollon (Mi 10T Pro)

As the title says, no audio at all when calling on apollon.
I cant hear the caller, the caller cant hear me.
Even if i dont install the caller features, they still get installed and audio breaks

Substratum theme conflict

I have a substratum theme to do a black AMOLED background on all of the Google applications. I had another device that had the latest Gmail and the latest Google Dialer app and substratum theme worked fine. After updating to 1.6 it seems that whatever theming is happening in the background when installing this module is taking over the associated backgrounds to all the apps and substratum cannot seem to overwrite them. is there any way that the theming and accents applied through this module is optional? I have tried recompiling/rebuilding all of the themes through substratum and the issue persists. 1.6 is the only module that this issue has occurred.

Bootloop Samsung Galaxy A51 (4G)

Galaxy A51 on Android 11 + OneUI 3.1, installing Pixelify causes a bootloop where the samsung logo is displayed, then it fades out, reboots, and reappears.

If force shutdown while bootlooping, device restarts and boots up again normally but all magisk modules have been unloaded and are not detected again until next reboot.

In Google Photos app storage of drive is being counted after installing pixelify 1.7. Nither exclusive editing options are available. I cleared storage of app.

When I install the mod with device spoofing (either pixel 5 or 6) my screen starts to flicker when I change brightness. I'm running MIUI 13 and A12.

Google photos doesn't backup unlimitedly

Original Unlimited upload no longer available

It appears that backup photos are now counting against the google storage. The images that were uploaded previously using v1.6 also started counting against it.

I have a P4 and I should get unlimited storage for the Storage Saver option, but it doesn't. It simple recognize my device as a non-pixel device.

Can you make the Pixel spoof on Google Photos to be optional instead?

Some features are not available without pixel spoof

In the readme.md file there is Adaptive Sound, but the feature needs to have pixel spoof enabled, and if you installed Android System Intelligence before, you have to uninstall it, then install it again, and reboot, then the option will show up on Sound settings, I make this issue to say that maybe you should replace Android System Intelligence if you spoof the device, so the features that are supposed to work work correctly.

Problems connecting to some google servers

When I activate this module, I can't connect to some of Google's servers (can't download apps on the play store, can't connect to RCS in google messages, etc.). I don't know what's causing this.

Most of the notifications are also blocked sometime.

Google Pixel 4 launcher crash!!!

I am a new Pixel 4 (running 2021-12 stock Android 12) user, yesterday I selected installing the new Pixel Launcher during installation of Pixelify, it succeed and completely replaced by the new version of Pixel launcher.

But accidently, when I uninstalled Pixelify and reboot, my phone stuck on home screen and can not run normally, and I found the Pixel launcher was not the normal original version in system settings. I tried to install the latest version of launcher but not work ( it showed Pixel launcher is crashed and stopped ).That is, Pixelify destroyed completely my Pixel launcher! Please fix this severe problem and give me a chance to do this: uninstall Pixelify completely and keep current normal Pixel launcher not changed.

Module breaks Google photos inbuilt editor

After installing the module, when opening the editor of Google photos on human subjects it shows a toast message of unable to edit check your connection. Although I have tried it on wifi as well as mobile data.
I am using spoof the device as pixel 5, Nga, and call screening and recording.

Bootanimation Optimization

Pixel bootanimation is optimised for 1080p display only, it would be great to have option for 720p , 1080p and 1440p display or auto-dectection and flashing of appropriate bootanimation from ☁️ would be great.

Motorized popup camera stops working on op 7t pro

My front popup camera mechanism stops working when this module is flashed. The camera still works, just doesn't popup on my OnePlus 7t pro.

Assistant and "Hey/Ok Google" hotwords doesn't work after a restart.

Pixel launcher, themes and everything else is working perfectly. But every time I restart my phone I can't use the assistant neither by launching it manually on the phone or with the hotwords. What I need to do is change the default assistant app to "None" and then back to "Google" and re-enable voice match and it works perfectly after that.

Hi, I accidentally ran the no-vk version of the beta and, after reboot, I no longer have call screening on my pixel 6 pro. What would be the process to get call screening back?

I am getting the following error when installing the dialer apk you provided...

Google photos origional quality no longer works.

As of Feb 5th I noticed google photos started counting original quality photos when using pixelify's original quality option. I am using google photos version 5.75.0.424739917. This occurs despite the google photos app stating unlimited original quality photos are present. Not sure if this is related to Pixel 3XL losing support for unlimited original quality photos (tested on onplus 8).

Google photos phone too hot

With this and many previous versions of Pixelify, I have never been able to backup with unlimited original quality. The note phone is too hot remains on always and never let's me backup. Phone does not have this issue on unlimited storage saver. Oneplus 9 on latest oxygen os 11 and latest Pixelify.

Call Screening stuck on "Activating Call Screen (Requires Wi-Fi)"

Hello,
Firstly thank you for this amazing module. It has helped us a lot to live our "pixel dreams". I do seem to have a problem here. When I installed the latest version of pixelify, the phone app seems to be stuck on activating call screening (as shown in screenshot). I tried setting my wifi as an unmetered connection, force stopping phone app, clearing data and even reinstalling the module but nothing seems to fix it.

Hey, I installed this module plus the launcher that came with it but i uninstalled it later and then found that my wallpaper app is gone... It comes back whenever I install module. What's going on here? Help me fix it please
