Pycker

Pycker provides user-friendly routines to visualize seismic traces and pick first break arrival times. This package requires ObsPy.

Installation

The recommended way to install Pycker is through pip (internet required):

pip install pycker

Otherwise, download and extract the package, then run:

python setup.py install

Usage

from pycker.gui import main

main()
  • left click: pick first break
  • middle click: remove pick
  • right click: print pick (receiver number, pick index, pick time)

cannot find sgy file nor segy files in a directory

I am trying to import some sgy files from a directory but nothing is shown. However, I am sure that there are valid sgy files in the directory. Changing files ext to segy does not help..

Python 3.6, from anaconda. windows 10 64bit

Is there a way to change conventions?

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to decide if I want to fill the positive or the negative side of the wiggle inside Pycker? if so, how? Thanks!

No event choosen yet

After opening pycker, selected directory having segy files
when try to import any segy file it is giving error "no event chosen yet"
Pl kindly help me.
