Super Peach Sisters Game

This video game is inspired by the Super Mario game. I created the Actor and StudentWorld header and CPP files to implement the characters and interactive features in C++ with object-oriented design. I All other files were provided as a skeleton for the game.

Getting started:

Step 1. Install the software.

Install Xcode 14.2 or newer.
Install XQuartz 2.8.1 or newer.

Step 2. Download and organize files.

Download all the files into one local folder.
Open the folder DerivedData inside the local folder.
Remove all files except for the 4 zip files: ModuleCache.noindex.zip, SuperPeachSisters-dfzdgotidoyeewegxkvdmpkrqqst.zip, SuperPeachSisters.zip, and SymbolCache.noindex.zip.
Unzip the 4 zip files.

Step 3. Open project code.

Open the file SuperPeachSisters.xcodeproj in Xcode.

Step 4. Update the directory pathway for the Derived Data.

In Xcode, navigate to File > Project Settings...
For the Derived Data option, select in the dropdown options Project-relative location.
Click Done to save the settings.

Step 5. Start the game.

Run the project code in Xcode.
Allow Xcode to access the folder it requests permission for.
