What feature would you like to see?
Recompile applications for QVGA compatibility to make it appear on the market.
What version of the product are you using? On what phone?
Version 2.0
HTC Wildfire
Please provide any additional information below.
Dear Sir,
After discovering your application 'Sound Manager' on a forum I was unable to
find Sound Manager on the Android Market.
In the end, I managed to install it via www.Appbrain.com.
I guess I'm unable to find your app on the Android Market due to the 240x320
QVGA screen of my HTC Wildfire. I can confirm your application works perfectly
at this lower resolution.
Unfortunately, even after a succesful install, I still can't see Sound Manager
in the download section of the market. This of course makes it harder to follow
up the releases of coming updates for example as I won't receive any
notifications... (It also makes it harder to contact you... that's why I'm
posting here ;D )
Would it be possible to issue an update of 'Sound Manager' in the future to add
a manifest attribute for smaller QVGA screens so that, as a consequence, the
Android market would reflect this compatibility with QVGA devices???
Thank you for a great app!
Best Regards,
Sylvain

What feature would you like to see?
Add another item called "Vaccation" on the list of week days on the schedule.
Also add a checkbox on the front screen to turnon "Vacation". This would
override to use the vacation schedules only.
What version of the product are you using? On what phone?
V2
Please provide any additional information below.
This would allow us to set schedules for vacation days so we can sleep in on
those days without being woken up by e-mails or ringing phones. I know we can
disable schedules temporarily but that's too much work. A single check box
would be so much easier.
Great app! Keep up the good work.

What feature would you like to see?
Sound Manager currently seems to adjust the ringtone when setting the volume.
Either a way to set the tone per application or only adjust the volume would be
fantastic.
What version of the product are you using? On what phone?
Motorola droid, 2.1.
Please provide any additional information below.
Sorry if this should have been a bug report. My use case is having my work
email have an audible notification, but my personal email have a silent
notification. Before I accomplished this by setting the notification tone to
silent for my personal email, but when sound manager changes the volume on
schedule it changes the tone to the system default too.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Going to Sound Manager Menu>Vibrate Settings. Then setting the 'Ringer
Settings' and 'Notification Setting' to "Vibrate Whenever Possible"
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect changing these settings in Sound Manager to cause my phone to
vibrate for ALL notifications when the phone is set to Vibrate mode. This
does not happen. The phone does not vibrate.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Sound Manager version 2.0 on my Motorola Droid
Please provide any additional information below.
I just downloaded the app and can not get it to work properly. I have a
Motorola Droid. I went to Settings>Sound&Display>Ringer Volume AND
UNCHECKED the box "Use incoming call volume for Notifications." I then went
into Sound Manager and under went to Menu>Vibrate Settings. I set both the
'Ringer Settings' and Notification Settings' to "Vibrate Whenever
Possible." I then used the toggle on the right side of my Droid to set the
volume to "Vibrate." HOWEVER, it still refuses to vibrate whenever I get a
notification.
Is anyone else still having this problem? I just want to have my phone
vibrate for every notification when the phone itself is set to "vibrate."
Please help me or send me an email.

when the schedule turns off the volume it should do it silently. And again when the schedule turns the volume back on it should be done silently. When this was installed on my samsung galaxy s 2 this did not happen now it is on my samsung galaxy s 3 it beeps or vibrates depending which schedule runs. So now instead off the phone wake me up for what ever reason which the sound manager should stop. The sound manager itself wakes me up. I can see nothing in the managers settings to stop this so presumably it's a fault. Can you please tell me about a solution.... Thanks

To reproduce:
Go to the schedule editing screen. You know, the one with sun through sat
buttons on the left side and a big start time widget.
Click minutes.
Bring up the on-screen keyboard.
Edit the value. Leave the keyboard either via the back button or via pressing
the keyboard's done button.
Now, before doing anything else, press done.
You'll see the screen that lists schedules and the schedule shown will not
reflect the edits done in the time widget via the keyboard.
Workaround:
After editing the time, press up or down arrow or change focus to the other
time (i.e. from minutes to hours or vice versa) before pressing done to somehow
magically and invisibly “update” the setting before hitting “done”.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I set up schedules. They work for a couple days or less and then stop
working. I have not found any particular issues that reliably cause the
problem. If I delete the schedule and recreate it, they will work again
without a reboot on the phone. If they are not working and I reboot it
doesn't fix the problem.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect change in notification volume based on schedule but no change
occurs.

ICS 4.x
Verizon Galaxy Nexus
Please allow me to set a schedule and have the ringer volume and notification
volume be different. Before ICS, there was an option to unlink these 2 volumes.
For some weird reason they removed it in ICS.
I have to be on call at night so I need the ringer to be on but I don't need
the notifications from emails etc. If you can find some way to unlink this, I
will love you long time.
There is an app on the market that can do this built it doesn't have scheduling
like your app. I love your app.
Thank you very much for your time.

Sound Manager v2 worked fine on my Verizon Droid RAZR (XT912). Schedules worked
perfectly. Then I got the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update and since then they're
erratic.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Sound Manager (always running, actually)
2. Set up schedule
3. Scheduled time activates schedule (in this case, reduce volumes on ring and
notifications at 7AM), and I can see the volume indicator appear on the screen
saying it's reducing the ringtone and the notification volumes to the set
levels.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect: when notification or call comes in, the volume is at the set (50%)
level.
See: when a notification or call comes in, the volume is at full.
Workaround: go to Sound Manager, press "Menu" and select "Apply Schedule
Settings". This fixes it until the next day.

What feature would you like to see?
It would be helpful to be able to create a named profile of behavior. For
example:
Meetings
Vibrate=On
RingerVol = 0,
NotificationVol = 0
MediaVol = 0
AlarmVol = 0
InCallVol = Max
then instead of creating a schedule with individual sound settings, it
would be
Staff Meeting
Mon,Wed,Friday 3pm - Profile = Meetings
Mon,Wed,Friday 4pm - Profile = Normal
etc.
Profiles could be created for
Meetings,
Outdoors - extra loud volume
Movies
etc.
