try out that mpz. Its very simple on the scratch. I replace 'myprogram' by 'type' in file:propertiess:name an press the OK button, 'type' is replaced by 'myprogram' the next time I run file:propertiess:name.

Uploading type.mpz.zip…

If I change file/properties/name, and reload the file/properties dialog, the change of the value of the 'name' property is untouched.

When executing make install, it will perform the following actions at the end:

xdg-icon-resource install (...)
xdg-icon-resource install (...)
xdg-icon-resource install (...)
xdg-mime install ManPageEditor/resources/documenticons/maneditdoc-mime.xml
update-mime-database /usr/share/mime
gtk-update-icon-cache --force /usr/share/icons/hicolor

I really think those shouldn't be the part of make install, but rather are handled by package managers.

Could you remove this target or at least make it not run when invoking make install?

Could you tag releases on github please?
As you probably remember, Slackware guys prefer to have version string without dashes -, so that format would be well appreciated:)
Trying to download from http://gtk-apps.org/content/show.php/Man+Page+Editor+?content=160219 takes ages or I'm doing something terribly wrong.
