sesame's Issues

R2 and R3 Silkscreen

Hello,

I believe the R2 and R3 silkscreen should be reversed, so that they are aligned numerically top to bottom. If this is intentional, please ignore this issue.

Thank you

QMK won't compile via files

With EXTRAKEY_ENABLE set to yes. It will not compile as the error: "There are not enough available interfaces to support all functions."
Solved it by setting it to no in via's rules.mk

acrylic case info

hello,

what width acrylic is suggested for the case layers?

thank you

Huge fan of the PCB, could it support ai03 daughter board?

I'm trying to create a CNC aluminum case for this board. Is there any chance to have usb daughter board supported?

I didn't have much knowledge about PCB designing to edit it by myself, but I will try my best to design a well-made case for it 🙏

PCB gerbers aren't uploading properly to JLCPCB

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the PCB, or an issue with JLC, but whenever I upload the gerbers for the PCB (using the zip file /gerbers/sesame_20200810_190522.zip) the preview image doesn't show up, and the dimensions are not filled in.

This issue does not happen with the switchplate and the backplate gerbers. I attempted to generate my own gerbers using ai03's guide, but I get the same issue.

Registering the Sesami keyboard to Remap

Could you consider to register Sesame keyboard to Remap?

In the Discord server of Remap, one user asked us about Sesami keyboard.

See: https://discordapp.com/channels/802306358938435605/816488260250370080/1039928619549597796

Sesami keyboard has already been registered to the VIA keyboard repository. However, has not been registered to Remap, therefore, users of Sesami keyboard need to upload the JSON file for VIA to Remap every times to customize the key mappings and etcetra on Remap.

Remap has a completed compatibility of VIA, and you don't need to create other any files for Remap. You can register the Sesami keyboard to Remap by uploading the JSON file you already have and fill in information about the Sesami keyboard. The URL of the application form is: https://remap-keys.app/keyboards

Thanks,
Yoichiro - The owner of Remap.

gerber to JLC PCB error

Hello!
Thanks for designing this very cool keyboard! Looking at this this old issue here , I generated the gerbers myself, and this appears to work for me, except for the switchplate. The generated switchplate gerber fails to result in the correct output, when uploading to JLC PCB. Is there a fix?
Thanks!
