reddit-notifier's Issues

Firefox support

Hi folks!

This extension was one of my favorite while browsing with Vivaldi/Chromium. As I now turn back to Firefox, I really miss it. Also, AFAIK there are no real substitutes for it.

I can import the Chrome extension via Chrome Store Foxified. The addon itself works fine, but clicking on a new message won't open it in a new tab.

Is a Firefox release planned?

Include options to "mark all as read"

Sometimes I'll get a couple messages I've already seen or don't have an interest in replying to, so it'd be nice to have a button to simply mark all messages as read.

I wonder if there is any point in making these suggestions as the project seems abandoned.

Stops working after a while

Absolutely love Reddit Notifier, extremely valuable to me because it saves me a lot of valuable time and makes things easier but it always stops working for me after a while for no reason whatsoever. I have to reinstall it every time it does that to get it to work again. Which is very annoying because sometimes I don't know whether it works or not, it makes it a bit unreliable. Hopefully that gets fixed, KUTGW.

Add more issue labels

Please start using Github issue labels for all issues. I planned to submit few more issues (feature requests, general discussion, and of course actual issues) but I've been holding off on them partly due to the lack of differentiation between issues. Also, having to prepend each title with the issue type is redundant...

Some of these issues I might end up closing myself in future commits (like I've been doing so far with this week's merges), but it's still good to use labels so that the issues tab isn't so cluttered. And, more importantly, it gives us a chance to discuss things before others (like me) start working on them, thus avoiding wasted work.

Just a question

Hello, I just wanted to ask how you guys got the reddit notifier to actually open up reddit invisibly and without having the user login? It's something I've been trying to do for the longest time.
Thank you

Add an option to immediately go to inbox upon clicking the icon.

Reddit Notifier looks like a decent extension, but as someone who gets a lot of messages (usually quite long messages) on Reddit, it makes replying to such messages much more tedious than necessary. I always end up going to my inbox because it's the only way to deal with large numbers of messages. Being able to click it and be brought to my inbox would be beneficial for someone like me.

Fork extension to display the Reddit user score/points

Dear @kaypoz,

Thanks so much for this extension! I like its idea yet would like to slightly adapt it and on the Chrome extension icon show the current score/points of the Reddit user.

Do you know by any chance whether the Reddit API permits this?

Thank you! :-)

View full message

Would be nice to be able to expand a message so that its entire body is visible, rather than the current truncated version.

Weird font in the pop up window

It used to be a standard font like Arial or Verdana but now it's this weird horrible font as seen here http://puu.sh/brjaz/33774d5b12.png

I would ideally like a font picker but if not, I'd like the standard Arial back. Or at least something that doesn't look bad.

I found that the font is Gill Sans which isn;t a bad font in and of itself but it's ultra bold or whatever which seems to be a bug.
