wave-planner's Issues

CI/CD Pipeline

As a developer, I would like an automated CI/CD pipeline so I can have more confidence in my deployments and save time by automating manual steps.

  • adding a CI Pipeline to automatically test every pull request using GitHub Actions
  • adding a CD Pipeline to automatically deploy every change from the master branch to GitHub Pages

export plan as CSV

As a user I would like to export the schedule as a CSV, to import it into modern spreadsheet software.

Deployment of application

As a customer I would like to have the application deployed to the web, so I can access it with only an internet connection.

Design Update

A rework of the design, in order to make the application more useable

add reoccurring steps to the waves

As a user I would like to add reoccurring steps to each wave in order to plan the waves more in-depth.
(E.g. Planning, Initiation, Execution, Recap).

See overall timeline

As a user I would like to see the overall timeline of the project, so I can easily identify the start, and end date of the overall project.

Visualisation of Waves

As a user I would like to see a visualisation (Table) of the waves so I can easily identify the start date, end date, and duration of each week.

Adjust the start of the next week

As a user I want to adjust the time until the next wave starts, so I can run waves in parallel to each other instead of starting a wave as soon as the next one started.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • There is an input to enter the number of weeks until the next wave starts
  • The delay is correctly detected, and the next week will start after x weeks instead of the end of the last wave
  • There is a toggle to deactivate that feature, since some projects will be sequential

Input Validation

As a user, I would like to have input validation on the input form, in order to see if I entered any invalid data (e.g., 0 waves, or negative duration).

Adding Identity and Access Management (IAM)

As a user I would like to create a user account in and log-in to the application in order to have personalised features.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The user can create a new account
  • The user can log-in/log-out to his account
  • The user can delete his account
