This is an app for fetching and retrieving market data

You dont need anything beside docker to test/lint or run the app. Everything happens in docker.

make up

This will create a network named influxdb and then starts influxdb itself also chronograf and kapacitor. At the end it will start our app which read BTC To USD conversion rates from CoinDesk and inserts them in to DB.

You can use chronograf at http://localhost:8888/ or make example-select to query the influxdb and see what is saved.

This app is purely an exercise in using influxdb and its related tools and also writing a clean code in Go. It also show how to use docker for all steps from test/lint to running the code.
