Apart from default packages following is required additionally

  • gcc , make, build-essential, python-dev, git, scons, swig
  • from https://github.com/jgarff/rpi_ws281x clone, compile/build/install neopixel package
  • flask, flask_monitoringdashboard

Note

  • It is important to ensure that numpy is installed via apt and version is not newer than 1.16
  • Due installation via pip there could occur problems with Flask if the newest version is used
