More ideas here - after realizing how many (many!!) mistakes I made in the current full strategy.
This is together for planning, but will probably split off to different issues.
- Rename "StandardStrategy" to "FullStrategy" and keep it as a relatively complete strategy that people can delete from
- Make RuleSets strongly typed. This may turn into a bit of an effort, but the current general RuleSet approach is really bad. Each set of rules performs specific types of actions and there are only a small handful (GetFirst, GetAll sorts of things) the rulesets need to reflect this
- Review the class hierarchy and design - particularly around attributes
- Clean up the code - particularly in the Specific Tools for Reflection
- Clarify, make consistent and simplify the interface with Specific Tools
- Try again at a fluent approach, again especially around attributes. One idea
