There seem to be no package for synology 214+, which I believe is arm/v7 arch.

@calmh have you looked into docker multi-arch builds?

With your setup I think it would be easy to achieve. Are your docker files pulling x86 code from third parties?

If not, I think the build would just work.

Do you have interest in a PR for AMR? would you be willing to publish the package?

I have Syncthing v1.3.3.3 installed & running on my Diskstation 415+ and packet centre prompts for an update to 1.4.0-19. File is properly downloaded but gives the following message on install:
“Port undefined configured for this package is either used by another service or reserved for system use. Please disable or modify the conflicting service, or contact the developer to modify the package configuration”
I already tried the following:

• disabling the Syncthing installation prior to update
• rebooted without Syncthing running
• changed port in the GUI settings
  but wasn't successful.

Does anybody know what might be the reason and how this could be solved?

seems it's not possible to install SyncThing anymore on DSM 7 (beta), it's very unpleasant surprise [I haven't noticed this change in the Release log].
Can you please do anything about it ? Hope you can...

Is i not supported?

I want to install it on my DS718+ but after hitting the Install button, the message Snycthing: Invalid file format. Please contact the package developeroccurs.

System:
Model name: DS718+
CPU: Intel Celeron J3455
CPU Clockrate: 1.5 GHz
CPU Cores: 4
RAM: 2 GB
DSM: DSM 7.0-41890

I've done a fresh install of Syncthing, and I get the usual message that:

The Syncthing admin interface is configured to allow remote access without a password.

So, I set an name and password and save it ... but it doesn't stay saved. Each time I go to synthing it warns me again, and when I check there is no user and password set

After adding the https://synology.kastelo.net/ and refreshing the community list, Syncthing does not appear.

Is it incompatible with my Synology ?

Installed on DS220+ running DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 3. The 'Open' link leads to a local page with a synology header and the text above.

The package manager shows 1.3.4.1 as the current version which seems pretty old to me.

README.md currently states:

I'd like to use SyncThing to sync Synology Drive folder(I know this may not be a good idea).

I've followed the https://docs.kastelo.net/synology/sharing/ to config the permission.
"Ignore Permissions" checked.
The sync fundtion is working but not the rescan.
I got the following:

SynologyDrive | error while traversing /volume1/homes/user/Drive/SynologyDrive: permission denied

I wonder do I need specific handles for SynologyDrive folder ?

I just installed this package on my Synology box and was surprised to find it accessible at https://mysyno.example.com/syncthing/, which is publicly accessible in my case. This contradicts the docs which say:

Syncthing will by default be available on port 8384 without authentication.

So by default it is also available on port 80 and 443! (only when WebStation is running I guess?)

This seems to be caused by /etc/nginx/conf.d/www.syncthing.conf which proxies /syncthing/ to http://127.0.0.1:8384/.

I would suggest not placing this file by default, or at least strongly warning users of this (just like you do for port 8384).

I'm using Synology DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2 on a DS 1819+

I added the SyncThing Package under Community successfully as documented here, but when I click "Install", I get the following error: "Failed to install "Syncthing". This package is not published by Synology Inc."

I don't see that I'm doing anything wrong here.

It seems the Syncthing service can't actually write to the drive?

Any ideas?
