When running the resultant file after using the make command it get's so far before stopping with the error Illegal instruction: 4.

In order to compile for x64 architectures the CFLAGS in the Makefile must be changed from -m32 to -m64.

inception_thoughts code throws "illegal hardware instruction" in x86_64 Mac OS X unless you compile the program with -m32
