harbour-file-browser's Issues

Display free/used space for encrypted SD cards

Display free/used space for encrypted SD cards

Using unencrypted SD cards the free/used space is displayed on the location selector dialoque. This is a nice feature - the German localized GUI looks like this:

grafik

With the release of Sailfish OS 3.0 the support for encrypted SD cards has been integrated. Using encrypted SD cards I am missing the additional info for free/used space. The German localized GUI looks like this:

grafik

It would be nice to have the additional information using encrypted SD cards as well.

Greetings,

i486

would you like to share the 486 target rpm?

The application no longer compiles.

sd card access does not work with SailfishOS update 4

sd card is now mounted under /media/sdcard and the mount point is named after the UUID of the sd card which means the old hardcoded sd card path does not work anymore.

An idea would be to parse /proc/mounts or checking all directories under /media/sdcard and see which one corresponds to a mount point. There is not yet a supported Sailfish API for detecting the cards (QStorageInfo should work though but it might not be white listed).

Please note that there can be multiple mounted partitions under /media/sdcard if the card itself has multiple partitions.

Open in specific directory

It would be nice if one could open the file browser in a specific directory by giving the directory location as command line parameter.

This would be also helpful for other applications that want to use harbour-file-browser to open a specific directory.

Example: harbour-file-browser ~/Downloads
Expected result: Open File-Browser in the users Downloads directory

New icon?

I think this file manager deserves a better icon that fits more with the default Sailfish apps icons.
I quickly made a vector icon that may better from this view. I wonder if you like it or not.

Translations ?

Hi mate !

I use your File Browser everyday on my device powered by Sailfish OS and it's by far the best one available on the Jolla Store. Many thanks for that !

However, I would absolutely love to use it in my own language. Any plans about translations within pull requests on GitHub or projects on Transifex ?

Don't hesitate to warn me if you're planning to do it, I'd be glad to contribute with my French translation and I'm sure many other languages would pop up.

Cheers !
