A chat app that allows users to create groups and channels within those groups in order to send messages to one another.

Clone the project

Also Clone the backend here

To begin cloning

  git clone https://github.com/karanvirsb/chat_app_client.git

Go to the project directory

  cd chat_app_client

Install dependencies

 npm install - OR -
 pnpm install

Start the server

  npm run dev - OR -
  pnpm run dev

Go to http://localhost:3000 in your browser and create an account and then start chating

• Go to the + button
• Type in the group name

• Click on the send message
• Type in a message you would like to send.
• Then press enter to send the message.

• Go to the drop down with the group name to invite users
