octoprint-psucontrol-tasmota's Issues

[REQUEST] Field Validation for IP/Hostname

I'm proposing that field validation be added to the Address field within the plugin, if possible.

The field allows spaces, and it can be hard to identify if a space has been placed before or after an IP address or hostname, as I just learned after 5 minutes of troubleshooting.

At the most basic, validation verifying there are no spaces (or invalid special characters) for an IP or URL.
Even better, validating the formatting of an IP address or verifying a URL has the proper basic formatting.

Configuration of tasmota plugin

Hi, couple of questions:

How should the tasmota address be entered? I have tried http:// and just the IP address but both don't seem to do anything.

What does 'plug' do?

Is there any logging I can check?

Tasmota can't switch off

PSU_Tasmota plugin cannot switch off, when using sense = Tasmota. (only switch on)
PSU control icon remains grey after switch on and toggle has no effect
Plug uses Tasmota 12.2.0

If I change to sense = Internal I can switch on AND off

In log I get:
2023-12-19 13:39:29,998 - octoprint.plugins.psucontrol_tasmota - ERROR - Unable to determine status.
