Hi!

Using Sketch 47, latest update.

1. Downloaded latest Homebrew and installed latest Gif.me-plugin.
2. Creates an artboard, adds a rectangle. Selects it.
3. Opens up Sketch > Plugins > Gif Me. Choose a random GIF-anim (tried several).

Nothing is revealed in Sketch. No gif-anim, no nothing.

It works very well for me to upload the gif to sketch but is there any possible to export gif file?

I don't see a plugin file that says anything like "gif.me". No such item exists in my download.

(Separate complaint for anyone — why are more and more plugins crashing Sketch even when running latest verion?)

I'm aware that they can play in the sandbox, while you're designing, but when you're in the preview mode, can the videos play there as well?

I've also seen on the forums somewhere that if the system doesn't have gifme and there's a video attached to the sketch document, it just shows a still snapshot of the video.

Can someone let me know if having the video play in preview mode is possible? I've managed to get the video to play in design mode, trying to get it to play in preview mode.

Forgive my apparent repetitiveness, I'm recovering from a client request.

I made the top gifme with a gif and the bottom with an mp4 in a symbol. Any undo command unrelated to the gifs causes them to stop looping. Granted I'm using v49 which is likely why.

I love the idea but the plugin is not working for me on Sketch 47.1 (latest stable version).
I've followed the steps indicated but nothing happens: no gif, no error.

If I close a file and reopen it, all the GIFs will show a static image of the first frame. I can re-insert the GIFs by running the plugin again, but it's a bit of a hassle.

I wasn't sure if this is just part of the plugin or an issue I'm having.

Is there a way to install this plugin without using Homebrew as I'm not able to use it due to admin rights at work.

Also I'm pretty new to this so sorry if I've missed of any key info needed. Ta

I'm not sure how to resolve this. Is the plug-in compatible with the latest version of Sketch?

Working with sketch 47.1 and ~5mb video file on MacOs Sierra.

Video loops correctly approx. for a minute then stops on first frame. Deleting and replacing the video is required to have it loop again for a minute.

EDIT : Bug isn't consistent, some video inclusions repeat indefinitely.

I use Sketch, Version 46.2.

Downloaded latest Homebrew and installed latest gifme-plugin.
The gifme plugin shows up in sketch and I can select a mp4 file. After selecting the file, nothing happens. I also tried it with selecting a rectangle first.

Does the plug in not work with Sketch 48.2? I've followed all the steps, but when I click on plugins --> gif me --> select one, nothing pops up on Sketch.

The background is white instead of transparent

After adding a gif, zooming in and out causes the canvas to go blank (white) temporarily.

Hello to all! I can't export the arboard with the GIF inserted... It doesn't exist the option to export in .gif one only artboard? When I upload the artboard to Invision by Craft, it doesnt works too... Do you know the solution?

If I use another plugin called " Export more" it's also imposible... It only for create Gifs with diferents artboards ;)

If you link the file instead, I think it can reduce the file size significantly.

When I use the plugin, nothing is happening. Is there any issues with the latest Sketch update?
